“Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem”.
AA Young People Group Frankfurt
We are a group of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) primarily focused on the young and the young at heart – however, everyone is welcome. Regardless of your age or how long you have been sober: if you have a problem with alcohol or are looking for support, our meeting is a safe space for you.
The last Friday of every month is an Open Meeting. Family members, friends, and anyone interested in learning more about AA are welcome to attend these specific sessions.
Language: The meetings are held in both English and German.
When and Where?
- When: Every Friday evening at 8:00 PM (20:00).
- Where: Evangelische Familienbildung, Darmstädter Landstraße 81, Frankfurt am Main.
Time for Fellowship (from 7:15 PM)
We open our doors early at 7:15 PM (19:15). Feel free to come by early to settle in, make initial contacts, or share a conversation in an informal setting.
Key Information:
- All Generations Welcome: Although we call ourselves “Young People,” we welcome participants of all ages. Diversity enriches our recovery.
- No Registration Needed: You do not need to sign up in advance. Just show up as you are.
- Anonymity & Confidentiality: What is shared in the meeting stays in the meeting. We strictly maintain the anonymity of all members.
